.flash animation test, part 1

after working for hours on it yesterday, i realized that most of the little animated movements that i labored over wasn’t going to be visible long enough for people to even notice (or may not even see after i add some color to it). also realized that while there is animation, the end piece won’t actually be moving all that much. animation that won’t actually move?

since it’s work in progress, i’ll hold off on making a permalink. i’ll just log the progress IN THIS LINKYDINK HERE. you can see the illustrator (non animated) version of the piece followed by the flash (animated) version. not really feeling the eyeball animation all that much, so a new eyeball animation would be my next priority.

.i wonder if this will even be any good?

been trying to come up with a cool self-promo but keep coming up blank. i’m stuck on how to deliver the actual message (okay i don’t have the exact message yet), and if it actually fits the design/presentation…while still being interesting.

just added a little note (might be too little for people to actually read or even notice) at the top left corner of my splash page. probably a long ways before i actually make a version 2. hope to have some ideas by this summer.

.box of gundams pt.1

i dug a box out of gundam model kits that have not been finished (virtually untouched in the last 3-4 years)

really odd that i managed to finish painting only half of the kit. there’s lint on the shiny black painted parts from the years it was boxed up. i do have the upper body (i didnt take a picture of it) and it looks like i was going to customize it but it’s been so long that i’ve forgotten what it was that i was trying to do.

this looks like it’s close to being finished. well the feet is already primered. it just needs to be sanded/cleaned up and primered. i still need to modify the neck (the head needs to be higher off the body so i could pose it with the head down in a more dramatic fashion)

i’ll post a few more of these unfinished stuff some other time.
