35th Anniversary Edition of Adidas’s classic Superstar sneakers, designed by Underworld/Tomato. I managed to get a lightly used one recently in my size (I probably wouldn’t wear it that much either) . Which kind of begs the question, if I wasn’t going to actually wear it, why did I have to wait for the right size?
Made with 3M reflective material but used in a much more subtle manner. It’s certainly more subdued than the more recent Air Jordans that have been coming out lately. Not captured in my photos is how the sneakers glow at certain angles. I do manage to capture the subtlety of the typographic “pattern”, not overpowering but makes you really appreciate the small details.
Still haven’t decided on which laces to use. Most likely the white below.
