Been a while since I’ve picked up or viewed a Dave McKean book and I’ve only posted three of them here on the blog (view other posts). This one’s a graphic novel (can easily see this as a short film….though more NC-17) without any dialogue or words. . Dave McKean re-used the same illustration for the cover of the Counting Crows album This Desert Life a year later. The image became more associated with the album, when the book was re-released it came with this cover instead…: …which is rather sad to look at in my opinion.
