while most kids had Transformers toys back in the 80’s, I had this instead as my first transforming toy (it was a gift): Rex, from the slightly more obscure transforming toyline Converters (Avarians team/squad). By obscure, I mean that I only remember the name Rex, and google search results for transforming toys usually end up in either Transformers or Gobot universes. So chasing this baby down both on the web and on ebay took awhile. I’m guessing the white piece that’s lodged in his left hand is his sword handle…
